Editorial Decisions

Once an articles editor has done the first read of an article, it is time to make the decision about what to do with the article. She can assign it back to the assigning editor or to another editor, award it a second read, or reject it. Rejecting it will simultaneously notify the author and move papers from the pending queue into the rejected queue saving editors precious time. The rejection letter, like the offer and the acceptance letters are template e-mails that the law review can customize.

COOL FEATURE:
Editors can at any time download detailed reports on submissions as Excel files. These files can then be printed and shared, making it easy to hold group discussions about articles.
